Position: Software Developer, Salesforce Experience Cloud (Backend)

Previous experience: Salesforce Developer, Salesforce integration, deployment (CI/CD) experience

Location: Bangalore, India – Hybrid (~60% office, ~40% remote)

The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Experience Cloud (Backend End) Developer to join our team. Ideal candidate will get the opportunity to work in a dynamic team, responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining elegant Customer Experiences tailored to meet our constantly evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop complex Digital Experience solutions, including customizations, integrations, and enhancements, with a primary focus on Digital Customer and Partner Experiences

Collaborate with snr team members, business analysts and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Manage integrations between Salesforce Digital Experience portal and various support and services tools, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability

Develop and maintain Apex code, Test classes, and other custom solutions.

Implement and customize Salesforce features, such as objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and process automation

Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of Salesforce applications

Manage deployments and release management processes in Salesforce environments

Stay up to date on Salesforce updates, new features, and emerging technologies, and evaluate their impact on our Salesforce ecosystem

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in Salesforce solutions

Essential requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform, including configuration, customization, and development

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II certification is preferred

Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs

Experience with Salesforce integration technologies, such as REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Salesforce Connect

In-depth understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing settings

Experience with Salesforce development tools, including Salesforce DX, Git, Copado and CI/CD pipelines

Extensive experience in Salesforce Experience Cloud implementation and customization, Customer and Partner portals

Experience managing integrations with MuleSoft, Service Cloud, etc.

Commitment to implementing best practices in Salesforce development.

Proven track record of delivering complex Salesforce projects on time and within budget

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
