Salesforce Functional Lead
Job Description

As SalesForce.com Functional Lead within the Enterprise Platform Services Delivery Team, you will be part of a high-performance team chartered to deliver enterprise-wide solutions. In this role, you will be part of a global IT project delivery team working in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Services, Global Operations and Finance organizations to design and deliver high-quality Salesforce.com solutions for Direct and Indirect Sales Channels (Sales Cloud and Partner Relationship Management PRM). You will also work closely with other IT teams that support Agilent’s transactional systems and infrastructure.

The Salesforce.com Functional Lead will be responsible for consulting and solving complex business problems with scalable IT solutions in Salesforce.com as per business requirements. Specific responsibilities are:

Lead requirement gathering sessions with business and other solution teams, to define requirements and present solutions.

Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of business processes, identifying opportunities for Salesforce-driven improvements

Architect and influence best-practice Salesforce integrations with other systems and platforms

Collaborate with colleagues from business and IT to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements

Deliver design blueprints, detailed solution designs, and guide development teams

Validate solution components, lead business walkthroughs, and mitigate project risks

Lead stakeholder discussions, highlighting solution trade-offs and benefits

Lead the design of Salesforce and (optionally) other affiliated solutions for Sales, Service, and platform solutions

Implement new Salesforce solution for CRM and PRM business processes integrated with SAP CRM, ECC, and SAP CPQ

May assume overall IT project management roles in small to medium-sized projects

Explore new Salesforce offerings and work with product experts to explore new solutions, demo to the Agilent business team and prepare the roadmap for future growth

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science, with a focus on business applications and Information Technology. An advanced degree is preferred

8+ years of Salesforce.com implementation experience with hands-on experience in Design, configuration, customizations and integration with other ERP applications

Extensive experience in Salesforce architecture and design patterns, including platform security, data modeling, and integration

Experience implementing Salesforce’s Sales Cloud and Partner Relationship Management solutions

Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Incentive Compensation Management, Service, Cloud and Data Cloud

Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Application Architect or equivalent experience

Experience completing multiple end-to-end Salesforce.com implementation projects requiring integration into legacy and other ERP systems using Salesforce APIs

Experience with SAP CRM, ECC and CPQ is preferred

Experience integrating with SAP backend system

Experience building applications using Lightning Visualforce and UI related coding techniques

Understanding and working knowledge integrating third-party components with Salesforce using REST/SOAP APIs or Data Loader

Experience in object modeling in Salesforce and understanding of fundamental database concepts

Professional experience owning the end-to-end Software/Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including structured code management, environment management, continuous integration

Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and deployment tools

Ability to multi-task & handle high-pressure situations

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to be highly productive, both working alone and in close collaboration within a team, and able to use good judgment to make effective decisions within appropriate risk mitigation

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $121,600.00 - $228,000.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
