The Global Business Unit IT team is at the forefront of the launch of new medicines, leveraging data and technology to raise awareness and to help patients gain access to medicines. With a deep technical and business understanding, working across all therapeutic areas and disease states, we design and implement digital solutions that power our business while creating best-in-class customer experiences that improve patient outcomes and deliver business results. 

As part of our commitment to improving patient outcomes, Customer Support Programs (CSP) play a critical role in patient care, helping patients get off to a good start by providing easy access to Lilly medicines and connecting them to vital support resources throughout their treatment journey.

What You Will Be Doing

As Salesforce Architect, you will be responsible for leading the technical design, development and implementation of solutions supporting the CSP program.  You will play a critical role in helping our team to implement a suite of Salesforce Healthcloud solutions, delivering new omnichannel capabilities to support upcoming product launches and migrating existing services from legacy platforms into our new Salesforce Healthcloud platform.

This role understands the current state and future direction for our area, how we integrate with the enterprise, and helps to influence leadership (Business, technical & administrative) to deliver technical solutions that are aligned with enterprise and business goals.

Key Objectives/Deliverables

Evaluate requirements for solution implementation.Produce and maintain functional and technical documentation of systems software programs, code, and project documentation, as requiredTroubleshoot and offer technical support when neededDevelop, configure, test, and implement solutions meeting business or technical requirements/specificationsUse standardized processes to construct and testDevelop product that meets defined requirementsDevelop, steward, and manage current and future-state architecture strategy (analysis, planning, and automation)Technology roadmaps, guidance and identification of new servicesTechnology trends and cross-functional capabilitiesEstablish appropriate processes to ensure Lilly IDS evolves to achieve future architecture direction

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Computer Information or related field or equivalent work experienceSalesforce Certified Platform Developer (Required)Salesforce Certified Application Architect (Desirable)

Additional Skills/Preferences

10+ years of Information Technology experienceExcellent analytical, problem solving, and investigative skillsDemonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology areas (Strong learning agility)Knowledge of Agile principles and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe), including related tools (such as Jira)Technologist experience in application integration with other systems including knowledge/experience in API integrations.Experience with user centric designDemonstrated ability to influence without authority.Project Management experienceStrong team and interpersonal skillsEffective communication and collaboration skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to analyze and develop best practicesAdvanced level SQL and relational database experience.
