Salesforce Implementation Lead - CRM Marketing Automation

Job Description:

The Digital Products, Platforms & Services team is a newly formed team sits within Growth, Digital & Platforms (GDP) global function and is responsible for designing, developing & rolling out state-of-the-art digital products across brands, regions & divisions globally and help our brands accelerate organic growth.  

THE JOB 

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Implementation lead to be part of our CRM product team and drive the implementation of Salesforce CRM across various brands and divisions of Mars Petcare. As the implementation lead of our customer relationship management (CRM) marketing solutions, you will be instrumental in defining, developing and rolling out of our customer engagement platforms. We are looking for a results-driven professional who can bring in deep experience and technical implementation of Salesforce CRM and join our innovative team and play a pivotal role in defining, prioritizing, and delivering features that enhance our CRM Marketing capabilities, ensuring optimal customer experiences across our organization 

What are we looking for?A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field provides a solid foundation for understanding both business requirements and technical aspects

MUST HAVE 

Highly proficient with Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Lightning Component, Flow, REST API. 

Proven experience in software engineering leadership roles, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud CRM 

Salesforce.com Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud platform experience as an admin, architect, project/program, product manager, or BSA  

Salesforce implementation experience leveraging Salesforce Flow, Omni Studio, Object Framework, Data Integrations, Security Framework, and Lightning Web Components 

Previous hands-on experience with languages such as Java, AMPscript, JavaScript, and SQL  

Experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. 

Strong understanding of data management principles and data governance. 

 

NICE TO HAVE 

Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications. 

Experience with Salesforce CRM and other Salesforce Cloud products. 

Knowledge of marketing automation best practices. 

Previous experience in leading CRM Marketing initiatives. 

Experience in CDP solutions such Salesforce CDP, Hightouch or Treasure Data

What will be your key responsibilities?

As the Salesforce Implementation Lead for our CRM Marketing Team, you will work closely with the product teach lead and the Product Owner of CRM and will be at the forefront of driving seamless rollout across our customer engagement platforms. You will help identifying feature requirements, outlining the team's technical vision, and converting these elements into a comprehensive backlog for the development team. You will actively engage in product and business discussions with a technical eye for feasibility and adherence to overall roadmap and architectural strategy. This position provides a unique opportunity to lead and shape the trajectory of our CRM Marketing capabilities, delivering transformative experiences for Pet Owners across the globe.  

 

You will be responsible for  

Working closely with the CRM Product Owner, and the technical product lead to drive the direction of scalable CRM solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud CRM including two integration scenarios  

Scenario 1:  Petcare CDP is not ready; hence SFMC needs to integrate either directly to divisional data sources or divisional data lake; you will be working closely with the CRM ROLLOUT teams and identify any technical dependencies on the readiness of the divisional data sources to enable SFMC CRM marketing use cases; you will migrate the integration to Petcare CDP on a later date when its ready  

Scenario 2: Petcare CDP is ready; hence CDP +CRM will be delivered as a package; in this scenario the CDP abstracts out the CRM from all underlying divisional data sources   

Work alongside a team comprised of scrum master, business analyst UI/UX specialist, as well as frondend and backend engineers, data integration lead and data analyst and support the overall product development and support of rollout of this product across brands and markets within Mars Petcare 

You will be responsible to ensure the SFMC CORE Product technical setup is scalable across MARS Petcare divisions and brands and achieves highest possible economy of scale & skill  

You will oversee the integration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other products such as Consent & ID (OneTrust and OKTA), and Aprimo Digital Asset Mgmt (DAM)  

Manage and optimize data flows within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring data accuracy, security, and adherence to data governance principles. 

You will be responsiblie for implementation and delivery of some key capabilities such as (not limited to) 

Consumer Journey Mapping: 

Map out simple as well as complex consumer journeys, based on business requirements,  using SFMC drag-n-drop GUI allowing the creation of multi-step, multi-channel campaigns. 

Trigger-based Automation: 

Create journeys for our brands that can be initiated based on specific triggers such as consumer actions, events, or data changes. Examples include making a purchase at MARS brand website or physical clinic, joining a loyalty program, or abandoning a shopping cart. 

Multi-Channel Engagement D2C: 

Your CRM product will help our brands to engage with end consumers across various channels like email, SMS, push notifications, social media, and web, ensuring a cohesive customer experience across all touchpoints. 

Personalization and Dynamic Content: 

Your CRM product will help our brands use dynamic content in emails and messages to personalize comms based on customer attributes and behavior. 

Audience Segmentation: 

Your CRM product will help brands to segment audiences based on demographics, behavior, past purchase history or custom criteria 

A/B Testing and Optimization: 

Test different paths and messages and timings & triggers within journeys, thus optimizing the consumer experience with data & insights  

IP Warm Up: 

You will be working closely with the ROLLOUT teams to gradually increasing the volume of emails sent with a new IP address to build a good sender reputation with Internet Service Providers (ISPs). A well-executed IP warm-up strategy is essential for maintaining high deliverability rates. 

Account Setup (Business units): 

Create sub-accounts under the main account in SFMC to represent different divisions, regions, brands, or any other segmentation within the MARS Petcare organization; Each business unit can have its own users, data, content, and specific settings. 

User Roles and Permissions 

Define what users from MARS Petcare  and our brands /divisions and their agencies can see and do within SF Marketing Cloud. 

Execute specific access controls within a role, determining what actions a user can perform.
