The Salesforce Jr. developer position is a highly technical and creative role, focused on building functionality on Vertafore’s Salesforce platform. Assist and collaborate on features in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Communities and Celigo cloud integration framework. Work with other members of the Enterprise Applications team in an Agile environment to deliver business critical solutions.   You should have a passion for building high quality features representing best practices for the platform and thrive in a culture of innovation. Salesforce is the hub of our business process and facilitates the workflow, information and core metrics we need to successfully scale our business.  Core Requirements and Responsibilities:   Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:    Assist and develop custom solutions using Visualforce, Javascript, Apex, APIs and 3rd party tools, with a mind-set of long term scalability and an intuitive user experience  Manage configuration changes to fields, workflows, roles/permissions, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports, and dashboards  Research and development of new Salesforce add-ons / prototypes and applications, and facilitate continuous improvement within the environment  Communicate and collaborate with other team resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions  Research and keep current on Salesforce modules and functionality, also communicate trends and future needs from a business perspective to management
