Your role and responsibilitiesThe Salesforce Marketing & Sales Product Owner will be instrumental in advancing ABB's strategic Salesforce platform by taking full ownership of the Salesforce Marketing & Sales products. This role involves establishing a clear global vision and strategy that aligns with the ABB Way organizational objectives, while promoting efficiency, consistency, and collaboration across multiple business areas and divisions. The Product Owner will create a unified and streamlined approach to product development, leveraging agile methodologies to foster innovation, reduce complexity, and minimize technical debt.In this capacity, the Product Owner will effectively co-define, prioritize, and manage product demands, ensuring alignment with the organizational roadmap. By facilitating collaboration among stakeholders and optimizing design feasibility, the Product Owner will drive the adoption of core solutions across various business areas, ultimately enhancing overall operational efficiency. This role requires a strategic approach that emphasizes transparency and value-oriented engagement with ABB Salesforce Practice (ASP) - Business Area and divisions, embedding agility into processes to respond swiftly to business needs. The Product Owner will also organize the demand process for Salesforce products with a strong focus on delivering business value at the right speed, utilizing close collaboration with stakeholders and iterative feedback cycles. Additionally, the Product Owner will be responsible for developing and establishing the ASP organization’s agile capabilities, ensuring adaptability and continuous improvement to meet the evolving demands of the organization.The main area of responsibilities: •\tFoster communication and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment, prioritize demands, and maintain consistency across business areas and divisions.•\tTake end-to-end ownership of the Salesforce Marketing & Sales product by establishing a global vision and strategy that aligns with organizational goals and focuses on business value generation.•\tInspire and motivate the ASP Team while driving regular communication to assess project milestones and address roadblocks.•\tPromote the use of Salesforce standard features and methodologies to maximize efficiency, reduce complexity, and advocate for core solutions that can be adopted across multiple business areas.•\tCollaborate with stakeholders to define the capability roadmap, prioritize critical initiatives, and manage the product backlog effectively.•\tWork with the Comms, Change & Training Lead to ensure effective onboarding and adoption of new capabilities through a structured change management strategy.•\tOversee budget planning and allocation, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, while collaborating with compliance teams to enforce data governance and security standards.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar. Master’s degree is a plus, with more that 12-15 years of relevant working experience, from that at least 4-6 years of experience as Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role within Salesforce Marketing & Sales domain or related fields. Experience in a Salesforce Marketing & Sales environment, preferably within a technology-driven engineering industrial sector.Certification like Scrum Product Owner or Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant is preferred. And Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist is a plus.Utilize critical thinking to align product vision with organizational objectives and leverage data-driven insights for decision-making and performance tracking.Demonstrate strong communication skills to facilitate discussions and foster collaboration among stakeholders and team members. Exhibit a collaborative mindset by actively engaging with cross-functional teams to build relationships and work towards common goals.Show flexibility in responding to changing priorities while staying updated on the latest Salesforce and industry trends to inform the product roadmap.Inspire and motivate team members by providing guidance and fostering a positive team environment that drives performance.Demonstrated experience in managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs, while maintaining an execution mindset.
