With a keen eye on innovation and continuous improvement, the Salesforce team plays a critical role in enhancing customer experiences and supporting the company’s growth objectives. **Description** The Senior Salesforce Engineer will focus on enhancing and expanding the Salesforce platform through hands-on development and advanced technical solutions. This role emphasizes building robust integrations, optimizing DevOps workflows, and identifying opportunities for platform modernization. The Engineer will collaborate with business stakeholders and IS&T to deliver tailored technical solutions, address performance issues, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. By maintaining high standards in development and mentoring junior team members, the Engineer will drive efficiency and scalability within Salesforce implementations. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). + 7+ Years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 3 years in a senior developer role. + Salesforce Application Architect or Data Architecture and Management Certification + Proven experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). + Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including workflows, validation rules, process builder, and security settings. + Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs. + Familiarity with Git version control systems and development best practices. **Key Qualifications** **Preferred Qualifications** + Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems. + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. + Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo). + Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in managing large, cross-functional projects using Jira. + Expertise in Salesforce development tools such as Salesforce DX, Lightning, and Visual Studio Code. + Experience in mentoring and guiding development teams to achieve technical excellence and delivery. + Understanding of Agile development methodologies and Atlassian project management tools. **Education & Experience** **Additional Requirements** **Pay & Benefits** + At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
