Job DescriptionServe as information contact at receipt in an efficient and detailed manner with a high degree of qualityUnpack sample packages and coolers received at the labInterpret and register Medical Device samples into Laboratory Information Management SystemLabel samples and select appropriate storage locationsPlace samples into storageComplete sample discard on a routine basisPrepare and ship samples for subcontracting as neededTake daily paperwork to Pharmaceutical Sample Administration after registration and places in appropriate binRead, understand, and carry out standard operating procedures, following all safety precautions and proceduresHandle incoming informational calls and emails regarding expected samplesMaintain client files, including quotes, purchase orders, and incoming sample activity records, as availableInteract with all levels of project managers and technical staff

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

Self-motivation; excellent quality of work and attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively with coworkers and internal/external clientsAbility to learn new tasks quickly and to move easily from task to taskAbility to handle prioritization and multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to use a personal computer and learn necessary programsGood communication skills (oral and written)Organizational ability and good judgement

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentBachelor's degree in physical or biological science or equivalent training preferredAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

This position is full time, 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm with overtime as needed.
