+ Management of samples from receiving, internal distribution through lab testing to dispatch dispositioning using database software and basic Microsoft programs such as MS Word and Excel. + Checking samples against sample requirement and raising any issues to Project team. + Ensure samples are managed within quality process and in compliance with according the UL Quality and accreditation process requirements. + Working with teams to ensure samples are ready and available for test start internal customers and stored in the correct location. + Communicating and guiding internal customers on sample return via phone and email. + Support laboratory, engineering and shipping/receiving teams. + May also be responsible for maintenance of the warehouse. + Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. + Assist and trains staff as directed. + May assist leadership in the development of training as necessary. + May develop or assist in the creation of reports and metrics as necessary. + Maintain an organized, safe, clean and productive work area. + Conducts periodic inventories of sample storage areas. + Reports any lost, missing or damaged samples and assists in the research and resolution. + Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. + Other duties as assigned.
