The Advanced level Assistant is accountable for the receipt and the processing of irreplaceable clinical trial specimens and is responsible to research and resolve sample problems liaising with Project Management, Specimen Management, Investigator Support, Laboratory and Data Revision Center for timely resolution. The level 3 assistant will also provide support to the LPS team and supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Same duties as in the Standard Level, Assistant I and Proficient level, Assistant IIAssist management and assigned workflow leads to ensure daily optimal workflow organization and workload completion in all areas.Perform processes of Hold Logs (if applicable).Help Standard and Proficient levels in researching and resolving issues. Act as mentor to these levels by answering questions and providing other training as needed.Handle emails of the department. Reply to emails independently.Pull pending reports and other task assigned by management.Lead the team to meet departmental goals.Perform administrative duties under supervision.Analyze and evaluate new process improvement proposals.Lead the implementation of process changes within the department.Mentor potential employee for succession planning.Demonstrate flexibility by doing other duties assigned, such as assisting in writing SOPs or acting as a subject matter expert for the department.Assumes leadership role in the supervisor’s absence to include but not limited to:Organizing assignments during the workday.Acting as a resource for internal customers.Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:
