Sample manager - Mobile Division

As Sample Manager Benelux, you are the central link ensuring that over 3,000 devices are available at the right time, with the right software and in flawless condition. You move effortlessly between technology, logistics and stakeholders, playing a crucial role in everything our customers and partners see and experience.

Role and Responsibilities

How you make a difference
In this role, you ensure structure, compliance and technical reliability across the entire sample ecosystem in the Benelux. You control sample flows, safeguard data accuracy and support product readiness throughout the lifecycle.
 

By working closely with internal teams and external partners, you enable smooth approvals, high-quality testing, impactful events and successful market introductions. Your ownership, attention to detail and technical understanding directly contribute to operational excellence and a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

Sample Management & Compliance

Control and maintain the approval sample stock in line with company policies and regulationsRegister, track and manage samples in SAP and coordinate approval workflows via KNOXMonitor sample movements, availability and lifecycle status to ensure transparency and complianceExecute stock counts and support internal and external auditsOwn and execute the GPPM sample management process, including goods received, goods issued and sample scrapping
 

Technical Readiness & Product Support

Ensure samples meet technical and software requirements before deploymentSupport country-specific software alignment in collaboration with Marketing, HQ and customersMonitor software readiness, technical roadmaps and specificationsSupport field testing (FTR) activities and document outcomesProvide technical input and validation prior to local product approvals
 

Product Testing & Quality Assurance

Execute required technical test scripts in line with company and customer requirementsValidate product readiness for market introductionIdentify, document and escalate technical issuesPerform self-certification testing where applicable
 

Event, Retail & Supply Chain Support

Prepare, configure and manage samples for events and marketing activitiesEnsure correct software versions and timely availability of samplesProvide on-site technical support during events when requiredSupport troubleshooting for retail devices, including Live Demo UnitsPerform incoming inspections of new product models and execute product reworks requested by Supply Chain Management
 

Stakeholder & Regional Coordination

Act as the primary point of contact for sample-related coordination across departmentsCommunicate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, operators and external partnersSupport activities across the Benelux region, including quarterly visits to our Belgium office.
 

Your team
In this role, you will join a dynamic and collaborative team with a flexible work setup, allowing you to combine office and home working. While you have the freedom to structure your day, working on-site is essential to gain hands-on access to the latest phones and laptops used for testing, validation and events.
 

You will be part of a close-knit technical team based in the Netherlands, consisting of two testers, a sample manager and a technical project manager. In addition, you will work closely with colleagues in Belgium as part of the Benelux organization. This role covers the Benelux region, with all operational activities coordinated from Schiphol, and requires travel to Belgium approximately four times per year.

As our new Sample Manager, you are customer-focused, proactive and comfortable working at speed without losing attention to detail. You take ownership, stay in control in a dynamic environment and are able to set the right priorities. With a strong problem-solving mindset and solid time and project management skills, you work confidently within international processes and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
 

We also request:A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or a related discipline.At least 2 years of experience in a similar technical, operational or sample management role.Experienced working with SAP / ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).Bilingual proficiency in Dutch and English, French is a plus for Belgium.High technical affinity and hands-on familiarity with a wide range of Samsung IMD products, including mobile phones, tablets, wearables and accessories
