Job Title: Sample Prep Technician
Job Description

The Sample Prep Technician is responsible for data entry and preparation of samples that come into the lab. This includes grinding samples, drying them in an oven, utilizing liquid nitrogen to freeze products, and blending samples. The role involves working in a dusty and sometimes smelly environment.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 2nd shift from 4 PM to 12:30 AM. The department works closely with the Sample Registration department, where samples are checked in before being prepared for testing in various analytical labs. Training will be on the first shift from 8 AM to 5 PM for two weeks. Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods and working in an environment with various smells and dust. The dress code is business casual, including jeans and closed-toed shoes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.28 - $22.32
