Role and Responsibilities

Joining the Revenue Operations team as part of our North America Sales Organization, this hire will report directly to the Sales Finance Manager. This position will focus on pricing, rate card management, and revenue support across Direct IO, DSP (Self-Service), Programmatic, and Private Marketplace revenue streams. The role will work cross-functionally with Sales and Client Success to track business metrics and develop financial processes for the Smart TV Ad business. They will partner with business operations, headquarters, subsidiary finance teams, engineering, and product teams to ensure full end-to-end financial support for all aspects of the business.

We are looking for a confident individual with experience in sales finance and digital ads product pricing who understands the importance of delivering excellent processes and rigor and can assist in accelerating our sales revenue. Role & Responsibilities

Build a knowledge of internal products and pricing methodologies to understand business needs and be able to make recommendations.

Responsible for end-to-end management and support of assigned sales group.

Execute pricing knowledge with review and approval of media plans via the OMS system; be able to execute complex pricing calculations.

Aid the team in creating and maintaining an internal company rate card, which includes analyzing customer spending and market trends to make recommendations on product pricing changes and strategy.

Focus on effectively communicating any changes in pricing across the organization. This includes creating quarterly emails and distributing incentive programs to drive revenue.

Work with internal salespersons on pricing exception requests by providing support in the form of revenue reporting, analyzing revenue, and deal pricing review to make recommendations.

Work with the Agency Development team to advise on the soundness of yearly upfront Agency rate card negotiations.

Partner with Sales Leads to create specialized client-specific rate cards on an ad hoc basis.

Approve requests related to added value and make them suitable by partnering with Client Success, Sales, and vertical Finance, which leads to understanding the need for and appropriate value for situation resolution.

Support maintenance of processes related to pricing and make good/added value approvals.

Maintain the KPI management tools to understand business margin drivers and work closely with the Yield Management and Data team on recommendations for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree, in Business, Finance or Accounting

4-6 years of experience in a financial or pricing function role within a company in the digital media industry

Must be task driven & can produce and hit key deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in the digital advertising space, with knowledge of the Programmatic landscape, Connected TV & upcoming technologies, industry trends, and major players

Ability to manage and work effectively within cross-functional and matrix relationships

Strong analytical skills

High level of proficiency with MS Excel (pivot tables, complex functions) and able to interpret and present data in an actionable way

System or BI experience preferred with systems such as DSP/SSP, DOMO, Salesforce, Operative, SAP, and other OMS systems a plus.

Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to multitask are required

The salary range for this role, for candidates based in California, is expected to be between $115,000 and $120,000.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
