The Regional Trainer will be responsible for providing superior in-depth Dacor product and program training to Regional Key Accounts and selected Independents within the assigned territory. Based in the assigned region, the Regional Trainer is responsible for delivering world-class training, with pride and passion, in showrooms, in-store or in trade events, and providing retail sales associates with the knowledge and motivation to sell our products.

Job Description:

Provide in-depth training and knowledge to Retail Sales Associates and Dacor’s sales team related to Dacor brand, products, and programsProvide a consistent in-store presenceAnswer on-call inquiries; Retail Sales Associates have email and phone access to Regional Trainers to obtain timely information needed to close salesBuild relationships with Retail Sales AssociatesProvide sales events, assisted selling and product knowledge supportCreate and provide Retail Sales Associates with sales toolsAttend home shows, new store openings, and special product launch eventsProvide support to Dacor’s sales team (DSMs, RSMs, Trade Reps), and other internal parties with respect to premium training and products as requiredAct as a key resource for specific product categoriesCultivate one-on-one relationship with top performing Retail Sales AssociatesMaintain and update training materials for assigned product areasAll other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager

Performance Measurements: 

Scope adherence: Ensure all project deliverables are completed as specified in a given timeframe  Budget adherence: Effectively manage project expenses and stay within budget constraintsHigh-quality outcomes: Produce training deliverables that exceed client expectationsStakeholder engagement: Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and keep them informed throughout the training lifecycleData-driven decision-making: Leverage training project data to identify trends, measure progress, and make informed decisionsProcess improvement: Proactively identify and implement enhancements for training efficiency and productivityEffective communication: Clearly and concisely communicate training project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholdersContinuous learning: Actively pursue opportunities to enhance training and design skills, stay abreast of industry trends, and embrace new technologies

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related field or combination of both education and experienceThree (3) to Five (5) years minimum experience in sales or trainingExperience in the appliances, luxury appliances, or related industryMust have a working knowledge of educational media and devicesHigh proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite and other software
