Overview:

2020 Companies has a full-time remote B2B Instructional Designer opportunity representing our client, Samsung Electronics America.

The B2B Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating all content for the B2B division of Samsung. This position supports the B2B training team with content through various resources, video, PowerPoint presentations, printed materials, Webex, etc.

Through strong business partner consultation, you will bring your creativity, cutting edge technical know-how and passion for adult learning to create best-in-class learning programs and solutions.  You will use your instructional design expertise to design and develop innovative learning experiences.  You’ll work in a fast-paced dynamic environment that demands creativity, high quality, and consistency.

Strong candidates will have a proven track record of success in developing asynchronous online learning for highly skilled and educated adult learners. You will use your understanding of the latest instructional technologies to keep us at the forefront of e-learning trends. The knowledge and skills obtained throughout your career and education will be put to practice with our subject matter experts to design and adapt courseware to online learning platforms.

Job Description:

Effectively develop course content and materials as well as facilitators and participants' guides for B2B programProfessionally create PowerPoint presentations that will be used for the training team to facilitate trainings with carrier, channel, and direct touch teams. Partner with program leadership to develop new and interactive ways for trainer's to facilitate trainingDevelop business purpose, target population, course objectives, course maps, task analysis plan, assessment plan for all training verticalsProvide weekly status reports to include plan and unplanned tasks started and completedDesign lesson objectives, instructional strategy, delivery media and assessment for all B2B programsEffectively design/implement training materials to enhance the overall learning experienceInnovate new and fun ways to engage the team in training and development activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, or related subject required; Master's Degree preferred5+ years in instructional design with a concentration in sales development and strategiesExperience applying principles of behavioral sciences and adult learningExperience systematically searching for related informationStrong critical thinking abilities (abstract and concrete) with a tolerance for ambiguityStrong analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
