Position Summary
As the Shop App Manager, your primary responsibility is to develop and maintain the Shop app. You'll collaborate with development and UX/UI teams to support the development roadmap, ensuring a consistent and reliable shopping experience for users in cooperation with European and HQ teams. Your role involves optimizing the Shop App in line with brand guidelines, with a direct impact on user experience.Additionally, you'll implement products and offers specific to the Shop App, aligning with marketing plans and managing stakeholders to bring these plans to life. Your role extends to owning the commercial trading strategy for the Samsung App, including trading strategy, promotional plans, pricing management, and revenue optimization. You'll need to work closely with various teams, influence senior partners, and continually refine the proposition to meet sales and margin targets. Your ability to present clear thinking and insights will be crucial in this role.
Role and Responsibilities
Drive, grow and deliver the strategy & development roadmap of the Shop App.
Monitoring the roll-out of new updates/releases to ensure little disruption to the customers.
Troubleshooting and resolving any problems with platform/agency teams.
Ensure fixes and HQ/Leadership requests are managed in an efficient and timely manner.
Making recommendations on Shopping experience/app improvements to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Delivery of a pricing and promotional plan in collaboration with/supported by the divisions that supports both their and our business plans, enabling us to deliver our: Traffic numbers, Conversion rate targets,, AOV, Profit targets
To ensure our marketing and onsite executions fully support the commercial plan and hit conversion rate, average order value and traffic targets.
To build upon the online propositional and promotional plans for the Samsung Shop App.
To own and drive effective and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, including regular forward planning meetings.
To continually analyse/evaluate and share the effectiveness of our proposition and promotional mechanics to identify and deliver continuous financial improvements.
To liaise with the online marketing team to ensure they are fully briefed to maximise the benefits from our proposition and promotional plan.
To ensure the trading and content team are fully briefed to deliver the proposition and promotional plan through our online experience.
Skills and Qualifications
Skills & ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years experience in online marketing.
Proven record of planning, developing & managing mobile apps, delivering successful updates & campaigns.
UX/UI experience where you can implement solutions that are user responsive and efficient.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and skilled in testing/debugging.
Analytical with great problem-solving skills, delivering consumer-centric, data driven marketing activities at scale and speed.
