This position reports directly to the Sand & Gravel Manager. Overview of Duties + Assist in assuring smooth operation at the quarry location + Maintain continuous improvement efforts to ensure the location operates at optimal effectiveness and efficiency + Help maintain a culture focused upon safety and health, as well as compliance with company and regulatory safety, health, and environmental standards + Work with other Quarry Managers and Werner Supervisors to ensure timely production of material + Consistently produce high quality material while minimizing waste + Balance Werner Construction, Inc’s needs and customer needs with production capabilities & inventory levels + Follow an effective maintenance program to ensure that assets are maintained and work ready.
