**Sandblasters** Ultimate LLC is **urgently seeking** **to hire Sandblasters** for work in **Phoenix, Arizona** . The **pay for this position is up to $20-$25 per hour** based on experience. The majority of our position hours range from **40+ hours** a week. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all craftsmen with no week in the hole. **Ultimate LLC Sandblaster Requirements** 1. Daily Work Plan: The sandblaster is responsible for creating a work plan for each day, ensuring it is set up and laid out by the end of the previous workday. This includes prioritizing tasks, organizing resources, and determining the time needed for each job. 2. Workspace Maintenance: The sandblaster must maintain a clean and organized work environment. This includes keeping the blast bay clean, ensuring curtains are closed, and keeping the area in front of the blast booth cleaned and cleared of obstructions. 3. Booth Cleaning: The sandblaster is required to clean the blast booth daily in case the Air Quality Department conducts inspections. This includes removing debris, ensuring proper ventilation, and maintaining a safe working environment. 4. Equipment Maintenance: The sandblaster is responsible for maintaining all sandblasting equipment in good working condition. This includes performing regular inspections, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed. 5. Sandblasting Knowledge: The sandblaster must be knowledgeable about the specific requirements for each job, including which parts need to be sandblasted and which should not be. This requires attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the project specifications. 6. Piece Count and Time Tracking: The sandblaster is responsible for maintaining an accurate piece count of all items being sandblasted, as well as tracking the exact time spent on each job. This information will be used for project management, billing, and performance evaluation purposes. 7. Safety Compliance: The sandblaster must adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate protective gear, following proper procedures, and reporting any unsafe conditions or incidents. 8. Communication and Collaboration: The sandblaster is expected to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other relevant personnel to ensure smooth project execution and to address any concerns or issues that may arise. 9. Continuous Improvement: The sandblaster should be proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement and sharing best practices with colleagues to optimize overall efficiency and productivity. 10. Other Duties: The sandblaster may be required to perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management to support the overall success of PPS Coatings. 11. Work may consist of weekends and overtime. **Skills and Ability** : 1. **Must be proficient at operating a blast hose (Single Leg Pump)** 2. Ability to identify and achieve SP-1,2,3,5,6,7,10,11,13,15 3. Ability to blast 150 sq/ft to an SP-10 in 1 hour 4. Demonstrate knowledge of how to check the circumference of the nozzle for wear and determine its suitability for use. 5. Demonstrates knowledge to perform and explain a preventative maintenance check/inspection on test blast hose. (blown gasket, cracked coupler, soft spots etc.) 6. Troubleshoot and repair field equipment (Blast pot, Dust collector, Vacuum, etc.) **Tools Needed for the Job** : + 1 - 10" Crescent Wrench + 1 – 12” Crescent Wrench + 1 - Hammer + 1 - Pair of Pliers + 1 - Wire Cutters + 1 - Regular Screwdriver + 1 - Phillips Head Screwdriver + 1 - 5 in 1 Paint Scrape + 1 - 12" or 10" Channel Locks. **Expectations:** 1. Adherence to safety policies: + Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. + Attend safety meetings and stay updated on safety protocols. + Report injuries, near misses, or unsafe conditions to the site supervisor immediately. 1. Communication and punctuality: + Arrive 10 minutes early to the job site to ensure punctuality. + Call the foreman to report sickness – avoid texting. + Inform the foreman about appointments or time-off requests at least one week in advance. 1.
