Description:  

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Salad Sandwich Maker with frontier spirit to support our camp in the Yukon, Canada.   

Rotation:  

12-hour shifts  

Rotation is subject to change based on operational requirements and camp location: 28 days on and 14 days off  

 

Responsibilities: 

Assist in day to day operations of the kitchen 

Operating all equipment safely 

Attending daily meetings with the Chef to discuss sandwich and/or salad preparation and production strategy 

Maintaining the daily preparation, handling, storage, rotation, and serving of all sandwiches/salads required to meet the kitchen demands 

Inspecting the equipment and food on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis 

Other duties as assigned 

 

Qualifications: 

The successful candidate must hold a valid food safety certificate 

1 year of experience as Sandwich/Salad Maker in the hotel/restaurant industry 

Excellent people skills 

Able to work effectively and efficiently with little supervision 

Ability to prioritize and multitask   

Works well under pressure
