Conducts routine inspections of permitted establishments and permitted sewerage systems. Participates and/or assists in enforcement actions. Assists in conducting on-site inspections of existing or proposed waste water discharges from facilities such as car washes, sewage treatment facilities, etc. onto highway right-of-ways. Investigates complaints from the public regarding unsanitary conditions, insect and rodent infestations, food-borne illness, etc. and recommends any necessary corrective measures.
