About Us T. Our foodservice business supplies many of the top restaurant chains in the United States. Overview To operate the press safely and efficiently. To produce a safe, quality product with the least amount of waste possible. To run a CIP system for cleaning piping. To understand the risks of cleaning chemicals and their proper handling. Understand the principles of both wet and dry cleaning. This position is for a designated, qualified, individual responsible for allergen, sanitation, and foreign material preventive controls. This is a second-shift position with shift differential pay and a $1000 sign-on bonus. Hours are Monday to Thursday 2 pm to 10 pm. Fridays 6 am to 2 pm. NO WEEKENDS. Responsibilities Records daily and weekly written records (log sheet). Daily production report, dryer temperature charts, cooler temperature charts. Record lot code information and usage of raw materials. Sanitize equipment according to the manual (SSOPs) using proper GMPs. Perform pre-operational inspections. Follows formulation instructions and takes appropriate measurements of thickness, length etc. Sift flour and inspect sifter screens bringing issues to management. Move and hook up egg totes. Responsible for maintaining clean and organized work areas. Ensures compliance with the Food Safety & Quality Manual, Food Safety Plan, assures conformity to all company, customer, and government standards in work areas. Follows all applicable Standard Operating Procedures. Follows all General Safety Orders. Assist with Master Sanitation Schedule, end of the week press sanitation, foamer and pressure washer operation as well. Assist with other tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate required. Basic math and reading skills required. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment requiring repetitive work preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude is preferred. Working Conditions/Environment Works in a manufacturing environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, read, sit, stand, walk, lift and bend while moving about the facility. Must be able to move a weight of 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift. May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. The employee is regularly exposed to heat, fumes, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors, moving parts/equipment and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the plant is below threshold. Earplugs, hairnets, and other PPE may be required, and are available if desired, in the plant in accordance with company GMP and safety standards.
