**Job Title:** Sanitation General Laborer third shift **Department:** Sanitation Associate 3rd shift **Location: Sanford** **Pay: $15. 00 p/hr** **Summary:** + Ensure deep cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, facility buildings, and grounds, including off-site offices and parking. **Education and Experience:** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. **Qualifications:** + Ability to read and write in English. + Follow written and verbal procedures and directions. + Operate equipment safely and follow safety protocols. + Use required PPE and maintain awareness of surroundings. + Understand and follow GMP’s and HACCP guidelines. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities:** + Ensure the safety and legality of food. + Perform basic calculations and follow written procedures. + Maintain a clean and sanitary work area. + Operate floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and manual pallet jacks. + Transport trash and waste to disposal areas daily. + Ensure all assigned equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized. + Complete necessary sanitation logs daily. + Work in wet, humid, and cold conditions. + Perform other duties as assigned by leads and management. **Physical Demands:** + Stand for 8-12 hours. + Lift, carry, handle, and grasp up to 50 lbs. + Push and pull wheeled pallet jacks or racks. **Work Environment:** + Moderate to high noise levels. + Work under various temperatures ranging from 45 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
