They manufacturing a wide range of products across retail, fast food, meal kits and sauces. They are in search of a Sanitation Manager for their site in Anaheim, CA. **Direct Hire Opportunity** **Graveyard Shift** **Salary: $120-130k** **Responsibilities:** + Oversee and train staff for proper implementation of Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs). + Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory standards concerning product quality, sanitation, food safety, employee safety, and environmental policies, while upholding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and executing Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols. + Play a role in achieving both current and future plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including sanitation effectiveness, air quality, environmental monitoring and pathogen control (EMPC), and chemical usage. + Foster open communication with upper management and work collaboratively with teams in production, maintenance, quality control, and the warehouse. + Provide guidance and training to team members, supporting their professional growth + Ensuring all team members adhere to safety programs and sanitation-related government regulations. + Complete evaluations for all employees within the designated area. + Conduct meaningful team meetings that allow sanitation staff to discuss relevant job-related issues. + Protect products from microbiological contamination and foreign material exposure. + Actively engage in and support third-party, customer, and regulatory audits. + Evaluate and verify the accuracy and completion of all entries in the master cleaning schedule. + Analyze production schedules to estimate the sanitation hours necessary for task completion. + Monitor and evaluate the sanitation program, making adjustments as needed to SOPs, checklists, and cleaning processes for equipment used in processing and packaging to ensure optimal performance. **Requirements** + Must possess High School Diploma or technical school/related field of study. required in Food Science, or Food Technology Previous experience in a managerial role in food production. + Must have strong industry experience with CIP Pipe cleaning + Experience leading teams, and ensuring continuous improvement across production processes. + Experience leading sanitation program and regulatory audits + Comfortable being exposed to hazardous materials and chemicals. + Perform duties with heavy lifting, ability to lift 45+ lbs and work in an environment with changes in temperature. + Ability to speak fluently in English & Spanish required.
