Our Rome, GA location is part of our Meat division and uses unique proprietary technology created and developed by Kerry to create breading and coating blends for our customers and products. What will you do?
+ Lead sanitation employees to maintain a clean facility using approved chemical solutions while following safety procedures including PPE.
+ Ensure the facility is compliant with internal, customer and governmental requirements for cleanliness while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
+ Maintain the master sanitation schedule for plant meeting GMP and Kerry guidelines.
+ Develop, maintain, and implement SSOPs, using both wet cleaning and dry cleaning methods and tools.
+ Conduct and participate in internal, regulatory and / or customer audits as necessary and follow up on any corrective actions.
+ Maintain chemical inventory.
+ Manage pest control program.
+ Recommend, develop, and implement new or improved sanitation programs or tools to meet plant and company goals for safety, sustainability, and sanitation excellence.
+ Manage relationships with vendors including chemical suppliers, pest control companies, and others as needed.
+ Participate and lead cross functional teams with production & quality.
+ Manage and adhere to sanitation budget.
+ Responsible to maintaining proper documentation that meets all governmental and customer requirements.
+ Maintain and write detailed clean up procedures and SSOPs for all plant equipment.
+ Responsible for sanitation of plant, warehouse, and plant ground.
+ All other duties as assigned.
What will you need to be successful?
+ Bachelor's degree preferred.
+ Experience within a food manufacturing setting but open to nutraceutical or pharmaceutical as well.
+ Minimum 5 years of sanitation experience with at least 3 of those years at a supervisor / manager level.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ SAP,Kronos and / or Intelex are a nice to have.
+ Proven leadership skills with a proactive, self starter attitude capable of working in a fast paced environment.
+ Availability to work weekends and night shift on occasions.
Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $89,175 to $134,984 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
