Ensure you have access to a valid email address/ * Qualified applicants will receive a phone call to schedule an onsite interview * Post Offer Background Check and Drug screen required * Summary:* Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing either the common areas of the plant or the processing room by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming and empty trash as needed. * Essential Duties and Responsibilities*: * Inventory and stocking of supply rooms as needed * Fill proportions with cleaning chemicals as needed * Ability to operate hand jacks, manlift and boom, floor scrubber, KaiVac and other cleaning equipment as required * Responsible for periodic deep cleaning of facilities as outlined by 3rd party audit requirements and as instructed by the Sanitation Manager * Understanding 5 S programs * Document all cleaning activities * Clean all computer stations, control panels, extruder motors/gear boxes, electrical cabinets (exterior), electrical lines, containers/carts, ladders, fan filters/vents, walls/floor mats, sink area/wash pit, mixer platforms, die storage room, pump station, and scales in the processing area * Minimum Qualifications:* * Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire. * High School diploma or GED * One month related experience or training * Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals * Physical Demands*: The* *physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions* *of this job.
