Sanitation Supervisor
**Position Summary** : The Sanitation Supervisor will oversee and manage all sanitation activities within the facility to ensure compliance with FDA food safety regulations. The role will focus on maintaining a clean and sanitary environment to prevent contamination, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and providing leadership and guidance to sanitation staff. The Sanitation Supervisor will also manage documentation, corrective actions, and sanitation procedures in line with both internal policies and FDA regulations. **Key Responsibilities** : + **Sanitation Oversight** : Lead and supervise sanitation team members to ensure cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, including production areas, equipment, and common spaces. + **FDA Compliance** : Ensure all cleaning and sanitation activities comply with FDA food safety regulations and guidelines for ready-to-eat (RTE) baked goods. + **Documentation** : Maintain accurate sanitation records, including cleaning logs, equipment inspections, and corrective actions. Ensure documentation is completed timely and in accordance with FDA guidelines. + **Corrective Action Management** : Identify areas of improvement in sanitation processes and procedures, and implement corrective actions when needed to address non-compliance or inefficiencies. + **Training** : Provide ongoing training to sanitation team members on best practices for cleaning and sanitation, safety protocols, and compliance with FDA regulations. + **Sanitation Systems** : Develop and update cleaning schedules, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and sanitation plans to ensure all areas of the plant meet hygiene and safety standards. + **Equipment Care** : Supervise the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring effectiveness and compliance with safety standards. + **Quality Control** : Conduct regular audits and inspections of cleaned areas, addressing any deficiencies immediately to maintain product quality and safety. + **Cross-Functional Collaboration** : Work closely with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to ensure sanitation procedures are integrated into production schedules and meet all safety protocols. **Qualifications** : + Proven experience as a Sanitation Lead or in a similar sanitation role within the food manufacturing industry (preferably in RTE baked goods or similar food sectors). + In-depth knowledge of FDA food safety laws and regulations related to sanitation and cleaning. + Strong understanding of effective sanitation practices, cleaning chemicals, and equipment used in food manufacturing. + Experience with developing and implementing sanitation programs, cleaning schedules, and SOPs. + Demonstrated ability to lead and train sanitation teams, with strong organizational and communication skills. + Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation. + Knowledge of corrective action processes and the ability to implement improvements as needed. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. + High school diploma or equivalent (some college or certifications in food safety preferred). **Physical Requirements** : + Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. + Comfortable working in a factory environment with temperature variations and exposure to cleaning chemicals. **Compensation** : + Competitive salary commensurate with experience. **Company Introduction** Dunkin' is the world's leading baked goods and coffee chain, serving more than 3 million customers each and every day.
