McCain Food’s facility in Wisconsin Rapids/Plover, Wisconsin is a large-scale food processing plant, employing approximately 500 employees. This site specializes in the production of french fries and mashed potatoes and produces roughly 3 million pounds of french fries a day!  

 

 

Major Duties

: Perform thorough cleaning of infrastructure, including overhead ceilings, pipes, walls, tanks, and equipment, ensuring a spotless environment. : Work efficiently in hot, humid, cold, and confined areas, demonstrating versatility and resilience.Understand and actively engage in quality process techniques, contributing to continuous improvement. Adhere to company policies for job safety, prioritizing a secure work environment.Be flexible and prepared to work during all factory shutdowns, ensuring thorough cleaning and maintenance. (Night shift availability required during shutdowns.) Utilize power washers for up to 65% of your 12-hour shift, maintaining equipment and infrastructure cleanliness. Climb ladders and steps, and work at high elevations from cages and aerial lifts, demonstrating comfort with heights.Work safely with strong industrial chemicals, following proper handling procedures.Push, pull, and lift 40 pounds or more, ensuring physical tasks are completed efficiently.Accurately fill out necessary documentation and reports, maintaining proper records.Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
