Our client, a family-owned food company is looking to hire a Sanitation Worker for their location in Santa Ana, CA. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within a food production environment.

Responsibilities

Execute cleaning tasks in accordance with the plant’s Master Cleaning Schedule.Disassemble and reassemble all production equipment for thorough cleaning.Utilize Clean-Out-of-Place (COP) and Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures for equipment maintenance where applicable.Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety guidelines.Demonstrate punctuality and dependability, strictly following safety protocols and client guidelines.Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience.Basic communication skills in English.Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle a moderate to high level of physical activity, including frequent walking, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs/ladders, with occasional kneeling or bending.Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.Able to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.Comfortable working with hazardous chemicals.Willingness to work in wet and temperature-controlled environments ranging from -30°F to 105°F.Must be flexible to work weekends and OT as needed.
