Our client, a food grower, is looking for a Sanitation Supervisor to join their team in Oxnard, CA. In this role, you will oversee sanitation staff, ensure compliance with safety and cleaning protocols, and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Train and coach sanitation staff on proper sanitation, safety, and food safety procedures, including tool use, cleaning methods, and chemical handling.Maintain and ensure availability of cleaning tools, PPE, and supplies, including monthly inventory reviews.Monitor cleaning schedules, assign tasks, and adjust plans as needed to meet production demands.Perform end-of-shift inspections, document activities using software, and prepare logs for production supervisors.Collect ATP/APC/Listeria samples, prepare chain of custody for lab pick-ups, and record results.Develop and update sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs) and identify opportunities for cleaning efficiencies.Organize appreciation events for staff and evaluate team performance in collaboration with the Food Safety Director (FSD).Carry out emergency procedures and backfill cleaning tasks as necessary.

Requirements:

Bilingual preferred.Proficient in reading and understanding SSOPs.Strong communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism under pressure.Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and tablet-based documentation tools.Valid California driver’s license with a good driving record.Self-starter with a focus on continuous improvement.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $24/hourSchedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 PM – 4:30 AM, with weekends and overtime as needed.
