Sanitation Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and hardworking individual to join our team as a Production Equipment Cleaner. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment and facilities, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our food manufacturing processes.

ResponsibilitiesSanitize and clean production equipment.Disassemble production equipment after cleaning.Use chemicals in proper concentrations for cleaning.Properly label chemicals used for sanitation.Clean machinery with pressure hoses.Load washing machines that prepare and package food.Take out trash.Clean restrooms.Break down boxes for disposal.Essential SkillsSanitation in a food manufacturing environment.Ability to use cleaning chemicals safely.Ability to work with pressure hoses and washing machines.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsNo prior experience required.Spanish language proficiency is acceptable.Why Work Here?

This position offers the opportunity to go direct after 90 days with good attendance. You will be part of a supportive and professional team dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in our food production environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is cold and wet. Candidates must come prepared to work on the first day with a jacket or sweater for the cold environment, and any additional extra layers as needed. Long pants and long sleeve shirts are required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of VISTA, CA, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $20.40/hr.
