**Job Title: Sanitation Worker** **Job Description** We are a Canadian-owned business specializing in the production of frozen Asian foods, including spring rolls. We are seeking a dedicated sanitation worker to help maintain high sanitation standards within our facility. **Responsibilities** + Help maintain sanitation standards within all areas of the facility. + Understand and follow various guidelines and work procedures related to health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation. + Adhere to GMP guidelines and safety practices, including lockout tag out, chemical handling, proper lifting techniques, and appropriate PPE usage. + Follow SSOP guidelines for proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required for the position. + Use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals and high and low-pressure water hoses. + Perform machine tear downs for cleaning purposes, including disassembling and reassembling production equipment. + Manually clean equipment by rinsing, foaming, scrubbing, and sanitizing production equipment, as well as clean-in-place (CIP) equipment. + Complete sanitation daily documentation (checklists) accurately. **Essential Skills** + 6 months experience in sanitation, preferably in food manufacturing. + Ability to stand for 8 hours. + Ability to lift items from floor to waist and from waist to shoulder. + Ability to push/pull up to 100lbs. + Proficiency in English. + Comfortable with bending, crouching, and lifting. + Comfortable working in a wet environment with cleaning chemicals and high and low-pressure hoses. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ year experience in food manufacturing. + 1+ year experience in sanitation work. + 1+ year experience in labor work. + Knowledge of WHMIS or possession of a WHMIS ticket. **Why Work Here?** + All Sunday shifts come with a $2 premium. + Enjoy summer BBQs and Christmas dinners. + Experience a family-oriented environment. + No previous experience required. **Work Environment** + Fast-paced food manufacturing facility with numerous conveyors and machines. + Temperature maintained at 8-10 degrees Celsius. + Multicultural work culture. + Dress code includes rubber steel-toe work boots, lab coats, hair nets, gloves, beard nets (if needed), and no jewelry. + Work shifts are Monday to Friday, 9:30pm-6am. + Initial 2-month contract with a high chance of extension. **Location** Richmond, British Columbia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,BC. **À propos d'Aerotek:** Nous savons qu’il est difficile de trouver du travail, et qu’il est encore plus difficile de trouver un travail enrichissant.
