Job description

Infosys is seeking a SAP S4HANA ABAP Developer

This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology.This location for this position is Richardson, TX. Preferred Qualifications Hands on experience working on Interfaces: Flat Files, Proxies, IDOCHands on experience working on OOPS and ABAP Web DynproExperience in Classic / Interactive Reports, ALV, BDC, SAP Script/Smart forms, Dialog / Module programming is necessary for the positionExtensive experience on Workflows, Enhancements (Implicit/Explicit, BADI Enhancements) and Parallel ProcessingDetailed knowledge of ABAP dictionary objects like tables, table types, search helps, lock objects is mandatoryExposure to LSMW,ALE/IDOC, BAPI/RFC is needed. Strong experience in implementation of SAP NotesExperience with the new ABAP coding patterns introduces as part of NW 7.5Working knowledge on performance tuning or performance optimization techniques and hands on experience in debugging tools and SQL tracing toolsMust have understanding on the authorization access and roles in SAPExtensive experience on CDS views, AMDP, HANA tuning techniques and ADT tools.Exposure to REST API, web services and web applicationsKnowledge of oData, UI5 and Fiori App design and development.Hands-on working on SAP HANA Studio, ABAP on HANA and good to know SAP WebIDEKnowledge in integration and mapping to SAP PO and SAP BW is an added advantageSound knowledge on different SAP modules.Must be able to perform Quality check of new programs in respect of performance criteria and optimizationCreate Technical Specification for the developments and other supporting documentsSupport for creation of technical Blueprints and technical design of RICEFsUnit test of developments and deliver quality oriented objectsWell versed in software engineering principles, frameworks, Agile Methodologies

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
