If you’re an SAP ABAP Developer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining ABAP programs in SAP systems to meet business requirements. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, functional consultants and other developers on S4 transformation projects and other business critical projects.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms (RICEFW objects).Performing custom code-remediations for S4 HANA transition.Work on SAP modules such as MM, PP, SD, FI/CO, or others as required.Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing SAP ABAP programs and provide efficient solutions.Create technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user guides.Collaborate with functional consultants to gather business requirements and translate them into technical designs.Perform unit testing and participate in integration testing to ensure system functionality.Implement SAP enhancements using user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, and enhancement spots.Support system upgrades, patches, and SAP system migrations.Adhere to SAP development standards and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.Stay updated on SAP tools, technologies such as BTP and methodologies such as Agile/ScrumWhat We Are Looking For
Level 2: 2-5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development requiredLevel 3: 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development requiredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field requiredProficiency in ABAP objects, ALV reports, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, IDocs, BAPI's and RFCs.Solid experience with SAP Enhancement frameworks (BADI, User Exits, Enhancement Points).Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench and Object-Oriented ABAP.Experience with debugging tools and performance tuning in SAP.Experience performing SAP upgrade related adjustments.Understanding of the business process and config. in SAP modules MM, SD, FI/CO, PP.SAP ABAP certification preferredGood understanding of SAP data dictionary and database concepts preferredFamiliarity with BAS, SAP Fiori/UI5 and OData services is a plus preferredExperience with SAP HANA development using Eclipse ADT, AMDP and CDS views preferredExposure to integration tools such as SAP PI/PO or Integration Suite and APIs preferredKnowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies preferredWoodward is an independent designer, manufacturer, and service provider of control solutions for the aerospace and energy markets.
