The Position
We are seeking a leader for our Accounts Payable team, under the Source to Settle workstream, who will be responsible for designing and implementing our global Accounts Payable solutions while managing SAP configurations and collaborating with various business areas. This individual will ensure successful delivery of IT projects by overseeing scope, timelines, and budgets, while also managing vendor relationships and stakeholder expectations. Additionally, a key aspect of this role will involve training and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in ECC Settlements, SAP configuration, and integration with procurement applications, alongside a solid understanding of finance and accounting principles. Exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently, and proven leadership in project management are essential soft skills for this position.
Enterprise IT (EIT) is an essential component of the current IT division that provides support to the Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain, Marketing organizations as well as Enabling Functions. The EIT SAP Platform Team is responsible for our Company’s SAP Global Template asset, delivering enterprise-level capabilities through harmonized business processes and data. The team is responsible for the operation of all our Company SAP and integrated solutions, governance of the associated enterprise assets, and cost-effective delivery of capabilities to support achievement of immediate and future state business objectives.
What will you do?
Design and shape our Accounts Payable solution globally, in line with the Global Supplier Management / Workplace Services (GSM/WS) Value Team.Manage and oversee the SAP configuration for Accounts Payable.Ability to collaborate with other SAP and Non-SAP Business Areas, Tax, Compliance, Finance, GSMG etc.Hold accountability for delivery on assigned IT Accounts Payable projects approved by our organization, including scope, timelines, and budget.Engage and manage outsourced vendors relationships in your area.Interact and manage expectations of senior business users and stakeholders.Ensure that AP team is delivering in accordance with regulatory commitments, sustainability requirements and highest standards of quality.Coordinate and work closely with other work streams and Application Maintenance Services leads.Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
Minimum of 5 years of strong technical skills in ECC Settlements, & Banking interfacesConfiguration experience in SAP ECC is a mustIntegration experience with Direct / Indirect procurement applications, e.g. Ariba, FieldGlass, Master Data Governance, Concur.Excellent understanding of Finance and Accounting PrinciplesExceptional English communication skillsAbility to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives and effectively prioritize workProven capability to lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring efficient resource allocationNice to have
Desired experience in SAP S/4HANAPreference for experience with Agile methodologyPreferred background in the pharmaceutical industryExperience with HP/ALM, X-Ray for testing, JIRA and Service NowWhat we offer:
