JOB SUMMARY

You will be challenged with customer focused delivery and Ariba solution expertise. The Consultant is responsible for delivering sound, quality tasks and deliverables on time and within budget.

You will be focused on the rapid transformation of client organizations into world-class managers of spend, through innovative, high-quality, global, Spend Management Solutions that create sustainable bottom-line results.

As a member of the Software Implementation Team, you will serve as an Ariba solutions specialist on application functionality. You will be responsible for contributing to the content and applying the Ariba Consulting Deployment process to meet customer needs within the realm and scope of the Statement of Work (SOW).

 

EXPECATIONS AND TASKS

Accountable for managing procurement streams for SAP customers within defined time, quality and cost constraints Manage project delivery expectations and relationships with clients, Partners and SAP Business Units Collect and record project knowledge and experience and seek to actively impart this to other members of the regional and global team Ensure SAP offers the greatest value and satisfaction to our clients by leveraging the capabilities of SAPs Ariba cloud solution and delivering services in a consistent and professional manner Ability to develop detailed delivery plans for various work streams and integrate into overall project timelines Detailed planning of process implementation Define detailed blueprint for development requirements Develop and Assure quality of process models Demonstrating profound knowledge of modelling standards and tools Able to proactively identify and escalate project issues and risks Ability to focus on results for the team, not just yourself

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A minimum of ten (10) years’ consulting experience in systems implementation, process re-engineering, Solution Design or a related discipline is required. Experience in implementing cloud and packaged products Detailed knowledge of procurement and Purchasing (Sourcing, Contract, Supplier Management, Buying and Invoicing) is a plus Industry experience including Business Practices necessary Demonstrated ability to successfully work with functional teams Strong analytical and organizational talent Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in both English and Japanese Experience with Ariba and/or S/4 MM solutions is preferred. Work experience as a leader and coaching position Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or technical discipline or equivalent experience. Ability to travel 80%.
