Job Summary
The SAP Ariba Specialist will collaborate with business stakeholders, consultants to help design, develop, deploy, and support solutions in SAP Ariba and/or S/4HANA and any associated bolt-ons to meet business unit needs for “Sourcing, Contract Management, Commerce Automation, Supplier Risk, Supply chain collaboration, Direct and Indirect Procurement, Supplier Management and e-Invoicing” business processes. The incumbent will also play a critical role in supporting the developing the architecture and implementation of SAP Ariba modules within the operating subsidiaries and the holding company for Terumo in North and South America.
Job Details/ResponsibilitiesSAP Ariba Solution responsibilities:
Configure SAP Ariba modules such as Sourcing, Buying and invoicing, Contract Management, Spend Analysis, Supplier Risk, Supply Chain Collaboration and Commerce automation, Indirect Procurement, Invoice Management, and Supplier Management Responsible for developing standard business process design, configure, test, deploy and support SAP Ariba modules along with any bolt-on for all “Sourcing, Buying and invoicing, Contract Management, Spend Analysis, Supplier Risk, Supply Chain Collaboration and Commerce automation” across Procurement and Finance functions. Administrator for Ariba upstream and downstream, and SAP Business Network. Responsible for Integrating SAP Ariba to backend SAP S4 HANA systems and other legacy ERP systems utilizing SAP Cloud Integration gateway. Manage integration of SAP, Non-SAP and Ariba with SAP Business network. Hands on experience in managing SAP Ariba upstream modules like Sourcing, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Contract Management, Supplier Risk. Responsible for support of Ariba integration with Invoicing solution such as Kofax and OnBase. Work with Tax experts in business on driving the tax determination in Procurement and invoicing processes using integration of Ariba and SAP with OneSource Enhance Sourcing, Contracting, Direct and Indirect Procurement, Supplier Management and e-Invoicing business processes through the development of regionally relevant solutions to meet business needs. Work with other Process Team(s) in resolving key integration points between and across processes to ensure they are properly accounted for. Work with other Process Team(s) on cross-functional processes (SAP Hierarchy etc) Work with other Process Team(s) in development and execution of the test scripts in the integration testing cycles Work with other Process Team(s) in development and execution of the cutover activities Perform Fit/Gap assessment and finalize functional specifications Work with Consultants/Developers to clarify any requirements as needed. Perform unit testing and ensure satisfaction of the documented requirements. Act as the main specialist for design and support authority for the Procurement team in collaboration with Business stakeholders. Timely Development and communication of weekly/monthly/quarterly status reports to Source to Pay Solution Architect. Create clearly defined Instructions and Structured Documentation to track and control project scope. Ongoing Support & Maintenance:
Take ownership for the Global Process Design Template, Configuration, Test Scripts and other associated work products related to “SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contracting, Direct and Indirect Procurement, Supplier Management and e-Invoicing processes” to ensure effective control over changes required for localization or legal requirements. Adheres to the policies, standards & baselines to ensure consistency of Support SAP COE in testing and validation efforts related to Maintenance Patches, Version Upgrades and integration on New Bolt-on Applications from time to time as required. Respond to User Help Desk tickets for disposal of service requests from business users. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Software: Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba modules and their latest versions Hands on experience in designing and configuring SAP Ariba modules such as Sourcing, Contract Management, Commerce Automation, Supplier Risk, Supply chain collaboration, Buying and invoicing, Supplier Management and e-Invoicing. Deep understanding of Direct and Indirect Procurement and related Master Data Management processes Deep know-how of integrating SAP Ariba to backend ERP systems through standard Integration connectors like Cloud integration gateway. Strong knowledge of IDOCs, XML, CXL and Ariba workflow is highly desired. Strong knowledge of SAP Business Network rules and integration with SAP and Non-SAP ERP systems. Basic understanding of ABAP and debugging ABAP code Experience working in SAP Ariba, S/4 HANA Procurement, SAP ECC 6.0 Materials Management, SAP SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), Warehouse Management (WM) Familiarity with SOX and IRM compliance Keen analytical skills. Keen sense of maturity, judgment and diligence required to secure company’s financial interests; and, avoid exposures to expensive delays and cost overruns. Ability to cope with stress and continuously changing demands/priorities. Willingness to learn new skills/techniques/processes. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Qualifications/ Background Experiences Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or other relevant fields. Minimum 5 years of experience in Global Process Design, Deployment and/or support experience utilizing and configuring the SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contract Management, Commerce Automation, Supplier Risk, Supply chain collaboration, Direct and Indirect Procurement, Supplier Management and e-Invoicing Experience with major large, complex multi country end to end SAP transformation programs. Experience with SAP Business Network admin related tasks. Experience with spend management strategies and/or procurement, sourcing, category management, vendor performance management.
