Position Title: SAP Basis Delivery Lead/Consultant
Location: Remote/On-site (as required by the project)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and leadership in a complex mission-critical SAP environment.Act as primary contact for customers for any operational and technical topics, including SAP technical consultingLead and execute SAP projects and complex changes, such as new implementations, migrations, upgrades, conversions,maintenance activities. Work with other domains to establish implementation plans for SAP changes, projects, backupand recovery.Provide solution options and participate in high availability designs (HA/DR).Ensure supported components are maintained, optimized and used effectively.Manage escalations of critical incidents (with root-cause in technical area).Define and setup SAP and DB monitoring based on standards in order to meet SLA’s.Oversee ITIL processes (incident, change, release and problem management...).Handle Change Requests, acting as Change Manager, in process & in tools.Participate in regular account review sessions with the customer and Account Service Team.Execute Project management for technical tasks / technical SAP project management.Identify automation opportunities and drive their implementations.Forecast and raise technology requirements based on technical and clients needs.Consult on the architecture and design of hardware and software within the client's environment.Ensure that technical system documentation is up to date (CMDB, Operational procedures).Provide internal SAP technical training for lower-level teams.

Knowledge and Skills required:

Technical skills:

5+ years of related SAP Basis administration experience with SAP products (SAP ECC/ERP, etc.)Administration knowledge of DBMS, such as HANA, DB2, Oracle, Sybase ASE, MaxDB, MSSQLExperience with SAP and DB technical daily operations, SAP and DB life-cycle managementExperience with SAP implementation / migration projects from SAP Basis perspectiveExperience in managing SAP / DB environment changes and upgradesExperience in Performance Tuning and MonitoringAdvanced OS administration skills (Linux, Unix, Windows)Basic understanding of computer network concepts (WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, DNS...)

Fluent English (min. B2) spoken and writtenAbility to professionally handle client requests, both on time and thoroughlyProactiveness: identify opportunities for improvements that positively impact operations and customer experienceStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem-solving abilityAbility to work independently and/or in the team, ability to lead the othersAbility to step into running projects and resolve issuesAbility to communicate complex situations to technical as well as non-technical clients

SAP Basis (Netweaver) Certified, HANA (or other DB) certifiedExperience with S/4HANA, BW4/HANAExperience with Solution Manager, FRUN administrationExperienced in system migrations, both homogeneous and heterogeneous, or SAP’s OS/DB migration certificationShell scripting experience
