ESPRIT is a global data platform based on SAP SEM BCS and SAP BW. It is used to consolidate the Siemens Group and prepare the consolidated financial statements, including segment reporting and BU reporting.
Your challenge will be: Design, implement and test of financial reporting solutions in the context of the Siemens wide BCS/BI application for group consolidation ESPRIT. Depending on the specific requirements, the following sub-work packages may be required: Creation of a concrete cost estimate; Creation of technical design/ detailed concept; Development / realisation with Query Designer 7.0, and Eclipse and Analyzer 7.0; Testing; Documentation; Optimization of existing reporting solutions and redesigning them by using other technologies like Snowflake, PowerBI, CDS views; 2nd level support in the ‘Esprit’ reporting environment; Various activities supporting the data run must be carried out every month. These include the following subtasks: Analysis/ correction/ optimisation; Testing; Documentation. Your qualifications: Experience in SAP NetWeaver BI and BO Analysis for Office; Good knowledge of SAP SEM BCS; Understanding of the following technologies: Query Designer and Hana Studio; Understanding of financial processes and financial KPIs; You are focused on results, quality-conscious and have a structured and systematic approach to your work; Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders; Practical experience in Snowflake and PowerBI is a plus; VB Script knowledge and experience is a plus; Good command of English both verbal and written; Basic German language skills are required, good verbal and written skills are considered a plus.
