Join us — you’ll be proud to call yourself an IBMer. **Your role and responsibilities** * Execute benchmarking tools to validate SAP HANA performance on PowerVS. * Analyze benchmark results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide optimization recommendations. * Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Python, or Shell scripting to streamline benchmarking processes. * Work closely with SAP and IBM Power teams to ensure compliance with SAP certification standards. * Contribute to performance tuning and optimization of SAP HANA on PowerVM. * Create detailed reports documenting test results, system configurations, and findings. * Troubleshoot system-level issues related to PowerVM, virtualization, and SAP HANA workloads. * Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and cloud teams to enhance benchmarking strategies. **Required technical and professional expertise** 4-8 years of experience with the following skills: · Sound knowledge of Linux/ Unix environment / system Programming / OS Internals · C programming, Scripting Tools (sed, awk) & Languages (Shell, Perl, Python, Ansible etc.,) · Unix/Any OS flavour - Kernel concepts and Internals (Process Management, Memory Management, Scheduling, Networking, Security etc.) · Excellent debugging & problem-solving skills · Exposure to VM deployment, Installation, and maintenance. · Candidates with any Unix testing experience is preferred · Ability to handle the testing and debugging tasks independently · Good time management & deliver work on tight schedule · Strong team player with good communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills · Added advantage: Knowledge of SAP products like S/4HANA, SAP HANA.
