What you'll do:

 

We are looking for candidates who are:

 

 

Troubleshooting problems as they come up spanning network, systems and code Deploying code across multiple environments and infrastructures through automation Monitoring alerts for any issues and using your troubleshooting skills to resolve them Building tools to reduce hands-on and recurring work while supporting existing tools Always looking for ways to improve and optimize current processes and tools Documenting new processes and tools and maintain existing documentation Collaborating with development teams and other internal teams

 

 

 

 

What you bring:

 

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

 

 

Student in computer science or engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience Solid knowledge of Virtualization and Containerization technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes Experience with at least one of the following hyperscallers: Alicloud, GCP, Azure, AWS Experience working with common CI/CD tools (Github, Jenkins, Vault, etc.) Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drill down to the code level Strong interests in DevOps / SRE practices and cloud technologies Fluency in English - verbal and written Bonus point - Experience with Cloud Foundry, Dockers/containers and Kubernetes Bonus point - Understanding of Unix/Linux systems from kernel to shell and beyond, taking in system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols along the way. Bonus point - Networking: knowledge and understanding of network theory, such as different protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, etc.), MAC addresses, IP packets, DNS, OSI layers, and load balancing). Bonus point - Experience with VMware technologies (vRA, NSX) and/or public cloud services (Alicloud, Azure, AWS, GCP) 3 days per week for at least 6 months

We build up a new next-gen SRE team in our state-of-the-art office in Budapest, Shanghai, and Montreal to evolve our cloud platform capabilities and shape the industry. Site Reliability Engineering as part of the development organization, provides 24x7 deep technical coverage for Incident Management (Outages and other incidents with major customer impact) and builds automation for large-scale systems. We share a Live Site First culture and care for the business continuity of our customers running mission critical applications in the Cloud.
