We are seeking an experienced SAP Client Capability Lead (CCL) / Project Lead to drive SAP project execution, enhance client capabilities, and ensure seamless SAP implementation and transformation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SAP, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.

This role requires a strategic mindset to align SAP solutions with business objectives, manage stakeholder expectations, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Capability & Relationship Management:

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their SAP needs and aligning solutions with business goals.Develop and enhance the client’s SAP capability, ensuring best practices, training, and knowledge transfer.Drive client engagement and stakeholder management, ensuring project alignment with business objectives.Provide guidance on SAP strategy, architecture, and roadmap development.

2. SAP Project Leadership & Delivery:

Lead SAP projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.Manage SAP implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.Oversee the end-to-end SAP project lifecycle, from requirement gathering to post-go-live support.Ensure smooth integration of SAP with other enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, BI).Identify risks, manage escalations, and ensure proactive resolution of project issues.

3. Technical Expertise & Innovation:

Provide deep SAP Basis expertise for multiple SAP Technologies (e.g. SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Cloud solutions).Drive SAP best practices, ensuring efficient system performance, security, and scalability.Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and recommend innovations to improve business efficiency.Collaborate with SAP architects, consultants, and developers to ensure technical feasibility and business value.

4. Team Leadership & Capability Building:

Foster knowledge-sharing initiatives to build SAP capability within the client organization.Act as a bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring alignment and smooth communication.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.7+ years of experience in SAP project leadership, with at least 3+ years in a client-facing leadership role.Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP integrations.Strong understanding of SAP implementation methodologies (ASAP, Activate, Agile).Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.SAP certification(s) in Project Management or SAP Solutions is a plus.

Nice to have:

Strong knowledge of business process optimization and digital transformation.Familiarity with enterprise architecture, governance, and compliance in SAP environments.Strong communication skills to engage with C-level executives and technical teams alike.
