Core Deployment – Manager

Role 

Responsible for the day-to-day business operation of the platforms and services, ensuring continuous platform availability and coordinating planned and unplanned downtimeWork closely with stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation and deployment of new releasesDevelop and implement controls to ensure monitoring the health of platform and ability to see issues before clientsLead the definition, improvement, and documentation of business operational processes as they relate to the platforms and platform tools.Collaborate with other teams within Products and technology teams in the process to scope and prioritize key platform improvement projectsServing as primary SPOC for any outages or escalations related to the PlatformDevelops deep understanding of colleagues experience, especially at a tactical and transaction level.Identifying and mitigating any risk/issues in new release development or support of existing releasesOrganize and manage various resources to achieve completion of activities and deliverables.Flag and manage issues and/or risks that impact the delivery plan.Ensure adherence and compliance across global and country teams to these approaches and standard working proceduresDrive and making sure Quality is at front of everything that we deliver.Manage different stakeholder contributions in structure/objective way to ensure consistent deliveryWork with the team to ensure all tasks are adhered to in our DevOps ways of working, as a well as keep control on SNOW Incidents.Preparation of delivery calendars and status reports for stakeholders

Technical / Functional Skills: 

Bachelor or Master’s degree with Technical emphasis, or equivalent. Experience on team leadership and people management.Technical knowledge or skills on SAP specifically on deployment tools, at least +4 years’ experience. Product SDLC Management Expert. Extensive technical knowledge on SAP Transport system (TMS) is required.  Knowledge on Rev-Trac tool would be appreciated.Excellent logical and analytical skills, data drivenResponsible for organizing the teams work. Quick thinking and ability to work under pressure (P1 management). Act manager for the team, provide necessary help, tools, and guidance to create a supportive, dynamic and productive team work environment.Ability to oversight and assess overall impact (helicopter view) for new processes and enhancements. Excellent attention to detail in solution requirement, build, unit test and documentation, to ensure deliver of quality.  Focus on making processes and tools as efficient as possible based on experience and data extraction. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
