Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP EC Pay Consultant with expertise in SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (EC Pay), specifically focused on Canadian Payroll. This is a support-focused position, so candidates should have experience providing post-implementation support rather than leading new implementations.
In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining the existing SuccessFactors EC Pay system for our Canadian payroll processes. You will provide ongoing support to clients, working closely with the business to ensure the system runs smoothly, deliver solutions for issues that arise, and assist in maintaining compliance with Canadian payroll regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide post-implementation support for SuccessFactors EC Pay with a focus on Canadian Payroll.
* Troubleshoot and resolve payroll processing issues, including data inconsistencies, payroll errors, and configuration-related challenges.
* Assist with payroll data management, including importing, validating, and reconciling payroll data to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.
* Support payroll runs and assist with tax calculations for Canadian employees, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and statutory deductions.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payroll-related issues and improve system functionality.
* Conduct user training and provide end-user support for payroll personnel.
* Maintain payroll configuration and ensure the system is continuously aligned with changing Canadian payroll legislation.
* Perform system upgrades and patches testing for EC Pay and manage the application of fixes as necessary.
* Act as a liaison between the business and the technical team to translate payroll-related requirements into system configurations.
Required Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SuccessFactors EC Pay, particularly with Canadian Payroll.
* Experience in payroll support roles, with a strong understanding of Canadian payroll processes, taxation, and regulations.
* At least one SAP SuccessFactors certification in a relevant module (e.g., Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll).
* Familiarity with data migration and system troubleshooting related to payroll processing.
* Strong understanding of payroll cycles, including the handling of employee data, benefits, and compliance reporting.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage critical payroll timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a support rather than an implementation environment.
* Familiarity with other SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Compensation, etc.) is a plus.
* Knowledge of Canadian tax laws, benefits, and deductions is highly preferred.
* Previous exposure to SAP HR Pay may be beneficial but not mandatory (focus is on SuccessFactors EC Pay).
* Ability to troubleshoot and test data interfaces between EC Pay and other payroll systems.
