The IT systems supporting each plant are not integrated with the systems of other plants. Consequently, client is not able to take advantage of economies of scale in the areas of procurement and logistics.The Data Analytics Platform program is a strategy to correct that deficiency. Under this program, master data and transaction data will be sourced from each of the 13 ERP systems and data marts in the network. The data will be cleansed, enriched, and harmonized via the use of Informatica product technology, and then will be organized into an enterprise data warehouse (EDW) for reporting and analysis. Reporting and analysis will be performed in a Microsoft environment on an Azure cloud in an Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) environment leveraging Hadoop and associated utilities and a PowerBI user interface for dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics.A parallel project is the implementation of a master global SAP ECC 6.0 instance which will be the system of record. The master data from all the other ERPs (Oracle, Maximo, etc) will be transformed by Informatica products (MDM, BDM, Supplier 360, and Product 360) and written to the global SAP instance, which will be the system of record. The requirement is for a resource who understands or can navigate Material Management and Purchasing (ECC) in SAP and understands how Master Data Management works in Informatica.
