Responsibilities Meet Panasonic Meet the Recruiter: Tanya Aharonov Explore Panasonic Careers Panasonic Video Our Mission: Create Technologies That Move Us Job Summary: The SAP Engineer will foster improvement of current business practices as well as leverage their own SAP experiences to support front-end activities, support functional and technical projects using SAP architecture, and support the ever-changing system requirements as PENA continues to grow. The ideal candidate will report directly to our PENA IT department but will work closely with our business users to support all facet of daily operations to minimize SAP issues. You will also be working with our AMS (Application Maintenance and Support) team members to provide business requirements for IT tasks such as Configurations, SDLCs, UATs, and other IT activities. This position will be primarily focused towards the Systems aspect of IT and less with Infrastructure. As PENA grows, additional requirements and tasks will be requested to support multiple projects across the company. Essential Duties: Design and implement SAP FICO solutions to optimize Finance operations. Work with AMS (Application Maintenance and Support) team to configure SAP FICO settings to meet the specific needs from Finance team. Provide support and troubleshooting for SAP Finance-related issues, including - General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting. Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FI-CO configurations. Implement standard Finance processes for FI-CO, General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FI-CO with other SAP modules and integrations with others middleware. Provide training and support to end-users on FI-CO new processes. Monitor system performance and implement enhancements as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in FI-CO area. Provide support during Month End Process (Inventory Day). Qualifications Requirements - Required and/or Preferred Education: Required Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, technology, information systems management, or a related field. Preferred Master of Science in Technology, Business Data Management, Information Systems Management, or a related field. Specialized post-graduate certifications include SAP Certified Consultant, SAP S/4HANA System Administration, or related certifications. Essential Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in managing and delivering IT services in assembly and production manufacturing industry (international desirable) Experience in managing complex project teams. Experience in business process re-engineering of systems application Preferred Qualifications: SAP S/4 HANA Data Management Customer focused and business sensitive attitude for applying effective manufacturing IT solutions. Promote high quality IT solutions - SAP ERP, MES, and other Manufacturing Systems. Promote creative and innovative IT services. Identify, research, solve and prevent service quality problems. Flexible with Financial period close and ad hoc SAP issues. Ability to complete work with limited guidance. Strong skillset with leading multiple projects congruently. Knowledge of Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory Management Data Integration between S/4 and other processes/modules.
