In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Complete SAP Projects and major enhancements, actively participating in SD meetings with both internal and external counterparts. Review processes performed by third parties to strictly ensure compliance with Emerson standards. Design and implement SAP SD configurations and customizations within Emerson Automation Solutions SAP Systems. Act as a point of contact for project meetings, working closely with collaborators, customers, and partners to facilitate knowledge sharing and offer technical support when required. Provide functional and technical expertise in the SD module, demonstrating SAP Configuration proficiency and tackling complex technical issues. Show strong SAP integration knowledge with PP, MM, FICO, and VC modules. Take ownership of major enhancements and project-related activities, particularly those involving EDI. Translate business requirements into detailed technical and functional specifications, collaborating with ABAP, Basis, Security, and other relevant teams to ensure accurate planning, development, and execution. Work closely with business teams to optimize solution delivery and scheduling, ensuring new business processes and requirements are documented and validated with customer expectations. Oversee workstream activities for projects and major enhancements, ensuring they progress according to plan, identifying delays and issues, and taking mitigating actions. Create and coordinate test scripts and system testing, including regression testing, and serve as the customer concern point for SD issues within the change team.

For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of 10 years of relevant IT experience in SAP. Experience in a matrixed organization, coordinating with multiple internal staff and consultants concurrently. Possesses strong analytical skills, able to handle complex tasks, and can work independently within established guidelines. Support experience in a global environment, including coordination and alignment with various collaborators. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with exceptional interpersonal skills. Experience in technical support of EDI, IDOC processing, Vertex, Taxware, and Tradesphere is preferred. Thorough understanding of SAP's customizing toolset, including IMG, and a comprehensive understanding of SAP data model in SD and SAP architecture. Deep business understanding of sales and manufacturing processes in a plant environment.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as MIS, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience. Good interpersonal skills in English, both spoken and written, as you will work with an overseas team.
