Participates in the entire software development lifecycle, with a primary focus on evergreen support of existing software solutions requiring significant knowledge of enabled business domain, workflows and processes.The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC) located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the position of SAP FI- CO Application Engineer. Successful candidates will join a thriving multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1400 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe.Chevron’s Digital Core is an enterprise-wide initiative to integrate and replace over a dozen ERP systems with a single cloud-based solution using SAP S/4HANA technology. The successful candidate will join this transformative project as part of the Finance team.
Responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to:
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and implement SAP Financials & Controlling modules.
+ Conduct detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
+ Design, customize, configure, and test Controlling module, with a special focus in COPA Profitability Analysis, Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting.
+ Identify gaps, issues, and provide innovative work-around solutions to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
+ Document functional designs, test cases, and results.
+ Proactively suggest business process and/or system enhancements.
+ Provide ad-hoc training and user support when needed.
+ Work autonomously and potentially mentor junior team members.
Required Qualifications:
+ At least 5 - 7 years of SAP ECC experience
+ At least 2 - 3 years of SAP S/4 HANA experience
+ Managerial Accounting experience
+ Financial Systems Experience
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP FI CO Module
+ Knowledge of CO module in S/4. Specifically, cost center and profit center and universal allocations
+ Advanced proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
+ Oil and Gas Downstream experience
+ Ability to understand and evaluate business processes from a customer's perspective.
