We are searching a SAP FIORI / ABAP Consultants to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment. They will be responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of client-specific package based solutions.
• Ability to comprehend and translate complex functional requirements into advanced developments
• Implement advanced frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SAPUI5 for application design and UI implementation
• Develop and configure OData services to expose backend data to Fiori apps via SAP Gateway.
• Promote and participate in forums for sharing expertise
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities in SAP development processes
• Ability to implement Developments in S/4 environment with a “keep the core clean approach”
• Creates and executes unit testing and integration testing ensuring software meets requirements, oversight of all code debugging to ensure error free code delivery
• SAP ABAP and FIORI Consultant is accountable for development and ongoing maintenance/enhancements of business systems
• Ability to analyze business requirements, review existing systems, define the solution, and translate that into detailed programming designs
• Ability to take detailed programming designs and perform the development required to translate them into efficient and accurate code
• Capable of effectively communicating with internal and external customers possessing various levels of technical knowledge
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing business operations using new SAP functions
• Update and maintain documentation and knowledge database
• Create detailed technical specifications
• Available to punctual travels when needed
• Compliant with agile methodologies
• Train and spread the knowledge through the global team
• Serves as a subject matter expert associated with content, processes & procedures associated with all SAP ABAP and FIORI
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 development, including both frontend and backend components
• Experience in design and develop custom SAP Fiori applications using SAP Fiori UI5, SAP Web IDE, SAP BAS, and SAP Fiori Design Guidelines
• Experience with Fiori and Extend Standard Fiori Apps, Ui5, OData, S4/Hana and CDS Views
• Experience with integrate Fiori apps with SAP backend systems like S/4HANA using OData services, JSON, and other RESTful APIs
• Should be able to develop Fiori Launchpad configurations, tiles, and catalogs to optimize the Fiori user experience
• Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle and system implementation methodologies
• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design
• Should be able to write custom ABAP code to support Fiori applications, including enhancements, function modules, and data retrieval via OData services
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Good analytical, logical problem solving skills with the ability to understand new tasks quickly
• Fluent in English
• Experience working with on/off shore team
