SAP Functional Analyst - FICO COPA
Job Overview

The SAP Functional Analyst is responsible for Warehouse functionality within SAP and associated applications and tools.  They will gathering business requirements and design, develop, implement, and support SAP (and bolt on) process solutions with a focus on warehousing and associated functions (receiving, inventory, etc).

Job Responsibilities Provide business system analysis and process design expertise within the finance, accounting, controlling, & profitability analysis business functions, and turn requirements into system solutions In depth business understanding of the accounting and finance functions allowing you to provide hands on support for daily operations, month-end, year-end, and related processes. Perform SAP or other system configuration as required to support functional requirements. Managing tasks through all project lifecycle phases (Requirements Gathering and Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment and Support) for IT initiatives. Participating in testing activities including, but not limited to, creating test scenarios, cases and scripts, as well as executing unit testing, integration testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing. Work cohesively with Business Process Owners to ensure business process design and supporting SAP configuration and developments are in line with the business needs. Work closely with ABAP and BW Developers or software solutions vendors as needed. Understanding of integration and relationship between SAP modules, especially as they relate to FICO & COPA. Create training materials and deliver training to business partners on new processes, functionality, reports and transactions. Analyze business issues, balancing competing needs and priorities to develop business solutions.  Participate and take a leading role including as a project manager if necessary within area of expertise of assigned SAP modules. Providing application maintenance and support by means of timely response to user issues and requests. Manage and control implementation of changes without business interruption. Collaborating with other team members to design and deploy effective IT solutions Ensuring stability and continuity in IT operations All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by the manager. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of IT experience in a corporate environment supporting SAP projects. Experience working with SAP WM and EWM. SAP or other Warehouse Management System full lifecycle implementation. Preferred Education and Experience 5+ years of IT experience in a corporate environment supporting SAP projects. In-depth understanding of SAP functional modules beyond WM/MM. Knowledge of PP/PPPI and relationships to WM/MM. PMP certification. Extensive functional understanding of warehousing best practices, and an ability to implement them in software solutions. Strong teamwork approach to problem solving with the ability to make sound, independent decisions based on functional expertise and experience.  Ability to provide leadership, support, communication and direction.  Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve beyond routine issues.  Working Conditions • Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.• Work is performed in an office setting.EEOC & Disclaimer Great Lakes Cheese is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer.
