Job description

Infosys Public Services is seeking a SAP HCM Configurer to join our team.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
An SAP HCM Configurer is responsible for configuring and maintaining the SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) system to support HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:Perform functional analysis, requirements, definition, and SAP module configuration and testing.Develop functional requirements specifications, data mappings, function mapping, setting of configuration tables, and setting of transaction/control tables.Coordinate projects across different organizationsUnderstanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business functionsStrong knowledge of SAP HCM HR modules including OM/PA, eCareer, EHS, etc. Manage development projects from initial conception to production.Communicate effectively using oral and written communication skillsUse Agile/Scrum processes and management tools such as VersionOne.Use IT Service Management System such as ServiceNow Knowledge of and experience with SAP S4/HANA preferred
Required Experience Level:Minimum of 4 years experience in functional configurer role in SAP/HCM preferred.
Required Certifications:SAP certifications in PA, PO, and/or HCM are desirable.
Educational Requirements:A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education.
The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
